Nicolas Cage to Pay $14 Million to IRS

Nicolas Cage is ready to put his financial problems behind him and start 2010 on a fresh note.

Cage, who owes over $14 million dollars in back taxes, just released a statement saying he's planning on paying all of it off this year.

"Over the course of my career I have paid at least $70 million in taxes, unfortunately, due to a recent legal situation, another approximate $14 million is owed to the IRS," Cage tells People in an exclusive statement.

"However, I am under new business management and am happy to say that I am current for 2009, all taxes will be paid including any to be determined state taxes."

Why do all celebs think they're above the law and don't need to abide by rules and pay taxes? There are only two guarantees in life: death and taxes. Come on Nic, you know better than that!
