Nicky Hilton Leaves Hotel Designers Out in the Cold

Nicky Hilton is involved in a controversy and is taking her sister’s spot in the press for once. The heiress recently announced the launch of her own hotel chain Nicky O Hotels is facing a lot of heat.

According to the latest report, when Nicky decided to get into the hotel business she wanted the hotels to look like her sisters pad. She then contacted the duo that worked on Paris Hilton’s house, interior designers Nizar Idrisi and Faye Resnick. If you all remember Fay Resnick was involved with the OJ Simpson trial and is also Nicky Hilton's godmother.

The duo were contracted in May 2006 to do the design concepts and renderings for the Nicky O Hotels. However, the only condition was that the duo would work for a much-discounted rate in return for press coverage, which meant his name in all press releases.

However Nicky’s people wanted to keep the names out of the press and it turned out that all designing credit was given to Nicky Hilton. After the drama unfolded, Nicky Hilton made a nice deal for Resnick while Idrisi was left out in the cold unless he played by her rules.

Now Idrisi is upset and wants the credit that is due to him, but was given to Nicky Hilton. There were articles claiming that Nicky was involved in every aspect of the hotel, which is untrue. What makes things worse is that Idrisi hasn’t even been paid for his services.
