Beef Between the Socialites

Could there be beef between NY socialite Lydia Hearst and Nicky Hilton? The beef is reportedly so serious that Nicky Hilton canceled her Miami Fashion Week show due to a “personal emergency.” The letter sent out stated that Nicky “loves Miami’ but would be canceling her Nicholai show which was supposed to take place tomorrow. What I don't understand is why Nicky would cancel a show because of Lydia Hearst?

Page Six is reporting that the beef between Hilton and Hearst began when the two had a run-in in L.A. during an Alvin Valley fashion show. Hilton was "fuming" when Hearst was pulled from the front row to walk on the runway to replace a model who had dropped out at the last minute.

When Hearst took the runway she was greeted by Nicky Hilton, "glaring at her from the front row." One observer noted, "When Lydia came out, everyone clapped but Nicky."

Elliot Mintz, a rep for Hilton, said, "There was no glaring whatsoever and Nicky has no issues with Lydia. The Miami cancellation was due to a scheduling conflict."
