Ahh, the red carpet. It’s a time for celebrities to put on their prettiest Armani Privé dress, walk slowly down a red carpet and look pretty. However, there are times when some weird stuff goes down on the red carpet. From Kim Kardashian’s flour bomb to Nicki Minaj walking with The Pope at the Grammys, these are the weirdest red carpet moments.

Sacha Baron Cohen spills ashes on Ryan Seacrest: For some reason they let Sacha Baron Cohen through the velvet ropes at this years 2012 Oscars, knowing full well that he must have something up his sleeve. Anyways, Cohen came dressed as his new film character, “The Director” and in a totally unplanned moment spilled what he said were Kim Jong-il’s “ashes” onto Ryan Seacrest. Besides the fact that this was totally lol-worthy, it sucked for Ryan’s suit and for the rest of his red-carpet interviews who were like “omigod what is all that white stuff!”
Nicki Minaj stopped by American Idol to perform her new single, “Starships” (more on that later) and got into a cat fight with Jennifer Lopez. Drama!

After Nicki’s performance Ryan Seacrest invited her back to the show and Nicki said, “I was hoping maybe I could come back and be a guest judge.”

The crowd went nuts and then Nicki said, “J.Lo, can you scoot over a little bit?”

While Whitney Houston's death is undoubtedly overshadowing the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, the show is still celebrating music's most prominent artists.

Nicki Minaj showed up wearing a Versace costume/outfit that looked like Lady Gaga meets Little Red Riding Hood meets The Flying Nun. Katy Perry chose to match her outfit with her hair color. Rihanna wore a black open-backed Armani dress.
Now that Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and host Steve Jones have all been fired from The X Factor it has sent tongues wagging over who will replace them on the singing show. The replacements have to be music A-List, I mean, there’s a reason Paula, Nicole and Steve were fired, you guys.

Rumor has it that Mariah Carey, Katy Perry and even Nicki Minaj are in talks to join the judging panel of the X Factor.

Last night was the 2011 American Music Awards and in cased you missed it, here is a recap and the list of winners.

The night opened with Nicki Minaj dressed as a robot and wearing a pink Shirley Temple wig. She was backed by DJ David Guetta and blasted some pyrotechnics into he audience and it was cool.

Justin Bieber sang a Christmas song and later changed into a tuxedo and put gel into his hair like he was ready for the 1950’s prom.

Chris Brown sang and dance and was really good at both, no surprise here. Mary J. Blige performed a new song and it was awesome. Kelly Clarkson was there to remind everyone she's still around.
Continuing down the road to Diva-dom, Nicki Minaj has reportedly flipped out on another member of her team. Specifically, the lady responsible for her face.

Celebrity facialist Dawn DaLuise claims that the hip-hop singer exploded on her after Minaj got her face waxed.

"After I waxed her eyebrows and lip, she started screaming, ‘Who the f-ck do you think you are?’” DaLuise told Star magazine. “‘Look what you did to my damn face! You think this sh*t is worth 170 dollars?’”

Uh, I hate to take the side of a fame-crazed diva, but 170 dollars?! That seems really high for an eyebrow waxing! At that rate, you might as well get lasered.

LAPD responded to a call at Nicki Minaj's house on Friday morning. Minaj and her boyfriend got into a fight with a couple of maids. Sounds like a really dangerous, important call. They probably had to send for backup. Anyway, here’s what happened.

A couple of weeks ago, Nicki’s maid found a picture of Nicki in the trash, took it out, and asked the singer to sign it. Instead of giving her an autograph, Minaj got pissed off and fired her. It probably wasn’t even a photo. It was probably the woman’s paycheck.

So according to TMZ, cops said that the maid returned for work today. Of course, Nicki flipped out upon seeing her, and told her to leave. But then, the maid stood her ground and said she wouldn’t be “treated like an animal.”
Remember last week when a YouTube video of two little kids singing Nicki Minaj's Super Bass went viral? At first, I just saw girls dressed as princesses and blew it off as a "Toddlers in Tiaras" episode, but it turns out, they're adorable and they're actually pretty talented.

So of course the awesome Ellen DeGeneres invited them to appear on her show, as she's been promising us for weeks now that she's going to be scouring YouTube for the best pint-sized talent.

If that wasn't cool enough for 8 year-old Sophia and her 5 year-old cousin, Rosie, Ellen also surprised them with Nicki Minaj.

With her long, blue mermaid hair and typical wacky style, Minaj appeared on the show to meet the two girls. Little Sophia immediately jumped onto the singer and squealed, "You're real! You're real!" Which is exactly how I plan to react when I meet George Clooney.

It’s hard to imagine that anything could ever be so terrible for Nicki Minaj that she’d want to end her life. But at one point, the hip-hop superstar was fed up with her struggle for success.

Minaj recently said, “At one point, I was just like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt. Like, ‘Maybe I should just take my life?’”

A few years later, and Nicki is at L.A. LIVE, announcing the 39th annual American Music Award nominees alongside Pitbull. Hollyscoop caught up with Nicki at the event on Tuesday, and she continued her sentiment:

“My journey has been up and down,” the singer told Hollyscoop. “Lots of bumps on the road, but it’s been exciting...
It was not an easy path for Nicki Minaj to become the reigning Queen of Hip Hop. She had to support her mother, fear her unpredictable father, and wrestled with thoughts of suicide.

"I kept having doors slammed in my face. I felt like nothing was working. I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I’d have to go home. It was just one dead end after another."

Eventually, the pressure to support her mother financially became to much for her to bear.

“At one point, I was, like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt.
