Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minillo took a huge leap. No, I don’t mean getting married. I mean agreeing to broadcast their wedding on the same channel that brings you a show about a girl who is addicted to eating toilet paper. Seriously.

Yes, Nick and Vanessa will be airing their intimate tropical wedding ceremony on TLC in a TV special documenting their love story. The couple married last Friday in front of only about 30 people. But the trailer for Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding has been released, and I hate to admit it, but these two kids are pretty damn cute.

Nick says in the teaser:

"It's Vanessa's day. Whatever fantasy--whatever dream wedding she has in her head -- I want to do whatever I can to make that happen.”

The couple also recounts how they met, with Nick dishing out “the best pickup line ever”, which is: “you wanna be in my music video?”

Guys, I wouldn’t suggest trying that line unless you actually have a music video you plan on producing. If you don’t, just stick to this gem: How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice. Hi, I’m Steve.

Yeah, you’re welcome.

Vanessa whispers in the teaser, “Yes! I got the guy.” And I don’t know how I feel about that. Part of me wants to say “awwww!” but another part feels like I might vomit a little.

The special will air on Saturday, July 30.
