Delta Goodrem might've been the world's youngest cougar, but the prowling is over.
The 27 year-old Australian pop star was dating 19 year-old Nick Jonas, but their relationship has officially ended, as confirmed by Delta's rep.
“Nick and Delta have decided to mutually end their relationship," Goodrem's rep confirmed to PEOPLE in a statement.
"At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths."
The statement continued: "They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future." Jonas's rep declined to comment.
No word on what caused the split, but I'm guessing the whopping age difference might've had something to do with it. To put things into perspective, Delta Goodrem is two years older than JWoww, and Nick Jonas was barely old enough to drive when Snooki got punched at that bar. Yes, I measure things by 'Jersey Shore'.
Anyway, Jonas has been in New York City, where he's starring on Broadway's How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. It was a role previously played by Daniel Radcliffe and 'Glee' star Darren Criss. So he's come a long way since JoBro.
“I'm enjoying love, life and friends,” Jonas said earlier this month.
He and Goodrem first stepped out holding hands at the movies last May. They had a good run, going on nearly a year together.
Jonas has said that he stays grounded by “surrounding myself with the right people. It's important to be with people who inspire you to be the best you can be.”
