Nick and Kevin Jonas Play The Field

Suit up, readers. It’s time to play ball!

Nick and Kevin Jonas graced the Heckscher Ballfields of Central Park on Thursday as part of the Broadway Show Softball League. The brothers played for the World Wide Wickets.

“Broadway softball league game today! Go World Wide Wickets,” Nick tweeted..

Decked out in blazing white uniforms and green caps, the boys took to the diamond like pros. Nick even sported some badass eye black in true champ form.

Nick and Kevin offered fellow teammates and coaches high-fives afterward with big smiles. Apparently they had plenty to celebrate.

The bros ain’t too shabby when it comes to swinging the bat… Actually they kicked some serious tail.

“18-5 Wickets win!” Nicked tweeted later on.

The Broadway Show Softball League is an annual event in New York City where performers from Broadway and Off-Broadway productions gear up each year for the kick-off of summer. About 30 teams each season have been known to participate.

Seems like Broadway has really done something to Nick. Earlier this week, the teen idol thrilled drama students by bringing them onto the New York stage as part of a special Broadway project. Nick was the master of ceremonies at the annual Music Theater International Broadway Junior Student Celebration at The Shubert Theater, which has housed hit productions including Spamalot and Chicago. Hundreds of kids from public schools in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan made their Broadway debut performing songs from musicals including Guys and Dolls, Bugsy Malone and Fame as Jonas looked on.

Nick, as you may recall, appeared in the Broadway show “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.” The final show took place on May 20th when the production was cut short. Nick shared the stage with Harry Potter heartthrob Daniel Radcliffe.

In other Jonas news - Kevin has been busy in the reality TV world, too. His new show on E! “Married to Jonas” premieres Monday July 9th at 10pm.
