Nick Cannon is not only an overprotective husband, he's ready to start a public feud with anyone who slams her. In this case, it's everyone’s favorite rapper,
Eminem.
Cannon slams Eminem for dishing about
Mariah Carey on his new tune "Bagpipes From Baghdad." The song includes lyrics like "I want another crack at ya" and "Nick Cannon better back...up. I'm not playing, I want her back, you punk.'"
Let's just say that didn't sit well with Cannon! So he took to his
blog to comment on it: "I felt sorry for him because he must really be stuck in the past. Not only has his music not evolved, but also homeboy is still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn't let him get to second base from eight years ago.
"What type of grown...man lies about getting with a chick? Only Slim Lamey! LOL!" Cannon added. Shortly after he posted this note, the blog was removed from his website.
Mariah and Eminem dated for about 6 months back in 2001, and apparently it didn't end well, because Mariah denies the entire affair.
Back in 2007, she told Playboy magazine, “Something is clearly askew with him. I’m curious as to why he’s so obsessed with me.”
It's not the first time he's rapped about his ex Mariah either. A few years ago Eminem mocked Carey by releasing voice messages, said to be from her, of a woman pleading: "Why won't you see me? Why won't you call me?"
Sounds like this love triangle is going to get dirty real fast. If anything, Nick slamming Eminem is just adding fuel to the fire. He'll retaliate by slamming them even more in his songs. Not a good idea Nick!
