Nick Cannon Gets 'Back to Business' Following Hospitalization

And apparently, “back to business” means getting a haircut.

Following what was described as a very painful “mild kidney failure” America’s Got Talent host, Nick Cannon, has tweeted that he’s “getting back to business.”

Cannon was rushed to a hospital on Wednesday in Aspen, where he was vacationing with wife Mariah Carey, and their two twins, Moroccan and Monroe. It was the twins first Christmas.

After being transferred to a Los Angeles hospital yesterday, it appears as though Nick is in better spirits, as he Tweeted a picture of himself getting a haircut.

Kidney failure or not, ya gotta look good. Especially when your wife is Tweeting pictures of you grimacing in pain from your hospital bed.

Meanwhile, Mariah also took to Twitter to give the world an update on her husband:

"Thank you everyone for all the love & concern. Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged within 2 days. As always he's laughing and in good spirits (sic)."

Carey previously told People that “the situation is not easy” and added that Nick was “in a lot of pain.”

That pain is pretty common when dealing with kidney issues. So what causes kidney failure? Dehydration, diuretics, Ibuprofin... just to name a few. Neither Carey nor Cannon have said anything more about the hospitalization. But if not treated, kidney failure can be quite serious and potentially life-threatening.

Nick remains positive about his recovery:

"Thank you for all your love, prayers and concern,” he wrote on his Twitter page. “You know me…I will be a’right.”
