Bling bling no more. No one is safe from the recession, not even iced out rappers like
Fabolous. Much like the rest of the economy, Fabolous is feeling the credit crunch, only his credit is back to nothing.
The rapper and his entourage of 20 were at an Atlanta restaurant were they requested an "usual excess of champagne and alcohol, so the manager asked for a credit card to start a tab."
Unfortunately, Fabolous' credit cards were all declined. Five times, five different credit cards to be exact.
"By the fifth credit card, the entourage member designated to take care of his tab goes outside," a source told Page Six, "only to start a fight with the outside bouncer. He tripped and fell, hitting his head on the concrete and started bleeding.
"The manager called an ambulance. But as soon as the entourage member also saw the police, he began running away, blood oozing down his face."
So who paid the bill? Members of his entourage all scrapped their pockets for some cash and ended up covering the bill. Guess life of a struggling rapper is not so Fab-o-lous after all.
