Forget the Christmas card list, Karen Zoliak isn’t even allowed to see her grandkids…
The mother of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Kim Zolciak has pleaded to the court to grant her access to her grandchildren. Karen’s petition was filed with the Supreme Court of Fulton County.
Kim is a mother of four children. She married Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann in November in 2011, bringing with her two children from a previous relationship.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Karen has not been allowed to visit the kids since Kim gave birth to her and Kroy’s second child Kash Kade earlier this month.
“She won’t let us see our granddaughters [or our grandsons],” Karen wrote. “We understand that’s because Kim and Kroy are married and living under the same roof that we don’t have the same visitation rights and that’s okay. Since we’ve had a strong bond with our granddaughters, we would like that to continue.”
In Karen’s petition, she said that prior to Kim and Kroy’s marriage she was able to enjoy time with the reality star’s daughters, Brielle, 15, and Ariana, 9, asserting that time away from the cameras has helped the girls’ development.
“The girls live such a crazy, abnormal life being on T.V. – they need a normal haven to relax and unwind in and just be kids,” Karen continued. “They usually don’t want to leave when they come over because it’s so calm and comfortable at our house.”
No word yet on what will come of the petition other than more family drama.
