Howie Mandel Hospitalized for Heart Problems

'Deal or No Deal' host Howie Mandel, 53, had to be hospitalized on Monday after experiencing an irregular heartbeat.

Mandel was in his hometown of Toronto shooting for his latest show 'Howie Do It' when he started to feel ill. He was rushed to the hospital and stayed overnight for observation.

Luckily everything checked out just fine, and he's expected to not only be released today, but also head back to work.

"Howie is in the hospital being monitored for an irregular heartbeat but doctors expect him to be released and back to work tomorrow," a rep for the 53-year-old Deal or No Deal host said in a statement. "He did not have a heart attack."

Friends and family are concerned that Howie has been working too hard lately and needs to slow down. Sounds like someone could use a little vacation. Just don't go to St. Lucia, Winehouse is still there, you might come back with more health problems then you left with Howie.

UPDATE: "Howie has been released from the hospital and will be back at work tomorrow," says his rep, Lewis Kay. "He appreciates everyone's concern."
