Hot off their whirlwind Emmy night (Best Drama and Outstanding Supporting Actor nomination for Peter Dinklage) the gang of 'Game of Thrones' has arrived in the remote location of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Since the show takes place in the mythical land of Westeros, the cast is constantly filming in foreign locales like Iceland, Morocco, and Malta. Basically, anywhere that looks "mythical."
Here’s Lena Headey getting off the plane in Debrovnik, carrying her luggage and keeping a low profile in a hat and glasses.
Peter Dinklage and actress Emilia Clarke were also on the flight to Croatia where the show will reportedly stay in the foreign locale for the next 10 days. The cast and crew will be filming in 3 locations: Pile Gate, Lovrijenac fortress, and arboretum Tresteno.
“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke is rumored to be dating “Family Guy” funny man Seth MacFarlane. We talked to her at the Emmys over the weekend on her surprise at how the show got so popular and in turn, turned her into a big celebrity.
“I had hoped the show would be the hit that it has been, but it’s exceeded all my expectations,” Emilia tells Hollyscoop.
We tried to get some spoiler alerts out of Emilia on what to expect from Season 3 of the show, as for her character Daenerys Targaryen, she tells us, “She’s representing the ladies in a very good way [next season].”
