CMT’s 'Swanderosa' Stars Go From Reality TV to Playboy

The Swan family is the focus on the CMT show Swanderosa. The show chronicles the life of the family, who opened the doors of their beautiful Texas estate to run a full-service venue for weddings and special events.

Ashley and Lesley Swan stand out on the show, as the archetypal all-American blonde beauties. And apparently, Playboy saw something in them, too, because the San Antonio sisters are set to audition to be in the mag.

While visiting The Roosevelt hotel in Los Angeles, the two were approached by a scout from Playboy. Originally thinking it was a joke, they gave their information but laughed it off. But when it comes to blonde bombshells, The Hef doesn't play around. He got his scout to follow up with a formal request for a casting call.

Meanwhile, the girls describe their Swanderosa business endeavor. “We did two or three events each weekend, which was really stressful,” Ashley says. “We wanted to kill each other one second and we'd be crying in a big hug circle the next.”

And apparently, the Swan's guests become like a second family. But that didn't come easy. Ashley recalls one embarrassing run-in with a guest.

“One time we were annoyed and complaining because it felt like [one guest was] throwing a wrench into our plans,” Ashley says. “A producer came out to give us a pep talk, and we realized she had heard everything.”
