Brittany Kerr: I'm Sorry For My Drunken Mistake

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the drunken cheerleader who screws everything up…

The country cheating scandal has come full circle. Following news that the married Jason Aldean had cozied up with Brittany Kerr at a Los Angeles bar, the Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader has issued a public apology.

TMZ reports that Kerr is deeply sorry about the way things went down, and is ruling the drunken make out session off as a lapse in judgment.
"The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part," said Kerr.

She added, "I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends & family."

Following the photos that were published, showcasing the home-wrecking “canoodling,” Brittany was forced to shut down her Twitter page due to a lash out from fans hating on the former “American Idol” contestant in the Jason’s defense.

But, then again, it’s easy to get the wrong idea about Brittany’s character, seeing as every Google image shows her in a slutty cheerleader outfit…

Brittany’s apology follows the country singer’s public regrets that he published on his Facebook page. In the statement, Jason came clean and emphasized that his unfaithful actions stayed at the bar.

“The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar,” he wrote. “I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that’s the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself.”

Relax, guys… With all this public apologizing, you’d think they were Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart or something.
