It’s just been announced that Lisa Robin Kelly, who played Laurie Forman on “That ‘70s Show,” has died. She was 43 years old.
Yesterday night, the actress passed away in her sleep at a rehab facility in California.
TMZ spoke with Lisa’s rep who revealed that the actress had voluntarily checked herself into a facility to treat her alcoholism.
“She had been fighting demons for awhile and finally lost her battle,” her rep said.
Kelly’s had some personal troubles the past couple years. She was arrested four times in the past three years for multiple charges: driving under the influence, spousal abuse and assault.
She also had a violent divorce from her estranged husband back in July, following a violent incident last May. He was convicted of domestic battery and received a three-year probation sentence, along with serving 35 days in jail.
It's a tragic ending for someone who was just trying to get their life back together. Rest in peace.
