New Moon Footage to Debut at MTV Movie Awards

Listen up, Twilight fans! You won’t have to wait until November to get your first glimpse of the sequel! Sources say a clip of New Moon will be presented at next month’s MTV Movie Awards!

E’s Mark Malkin reports that Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will take the stage to present the clip to fans.

Show producer Mark Burnett confirmed the news with the following statement: “Fans can tune-in to the show to see sneak peeks from three of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. These clips have never been seen before and we’re very excited that The Twilight Saga: New Moon is one of them.”

It makes sense that they’d preview the movie at the MTV Movie Awards, since Twilight leads the pack with six nominations, tied with Slumdog for the most.
