Neil Patrick Harris Lands 2 New Movies

Looks like hosting the Tony Awards is a good way to get your name out there! Something must have clicked, because Neil Patrick Harris has just nabbed himself two new movie roles.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Neil will co-star with Amy Sedaris in Best, a comedy about a father who moves his wife and young child from Delaware to the Upper East Side. In addition, Harris has also landed a supporting role in Beastly, an updated take on Beauty and the Beast, starring Vanessa Hudgens and Mary-Kate Olsen.

NPH still has his hit television show as well, How I Met Your Mother, for which he’s been nominated twice.

The two films will shoot during Neil’s hiatus from the show. And that’s not all. Neil also acts as the producer for Accomplice: Hollywood, which he calls “part scavenger hunt, part improvised theater show, around with – in real world locations, kind of like the Michael Douglas movie, The Game. It’s a clever sort of unique experience for LA. Busy, busy!
