Natalie Portman stole the show at the Venice Film Festival when she was honored for her philanthropy in Italy. She was presented with the Movie for Humanity Award.
Accepting the award, she said: "The Jane Goodall foundation does incredible work in Tanzania, an area which is very environmentally affected. I really appreciate this award."
Along with the award, Portman was awarded $50,000, but she donated the money to the Tacare Girl's Scholarship Program of the Jane Goodall Institute, which is a non-profit organization involved in education and wildlife research in Tanzania. Kudos to Natalie!
