Natalie Cole has just had surgery for a kidney transplant. She underwent the procedure on Tuesday in Los Angeles, and according to her rep is now “resting comfortably.”
Natalie has had a long struggle with kidney problems while she was receiving treatment for hepatitis C, with which she was diagnosed last year.

Natalie will now have to spend the next three to four months recuperating from the transplant. But despite everything she’s gone through, she’s still planning on rescheduling her summer tour dates in support of her album
