Naomi Campbell Does Walk of Shame on Oprah

Naomi Campbell is known better for her outbursts than her modeling career. In recent years, the supermodel has had more than one incident breaking the law, but is ready to turn over a new leaf.

Naomi appeared on Oprah today to discuss her various outbursts against law enforcement, assistants and housekeepers. And surprisingly, she didn’t try and defend her childish behavior. ?"I take responsibility for the things that I have done," Campbell said. “And I do feel a great sense of shame."

Naomi Campbell is Set For Life

It’s almost as if Campbell treats her incidents like out-of-body experiences. She told Oprah, "I feel remorseful. I feel ashamed. I feel for them...[I think,] 'What have I done to them?' If I've hurt them."

Naomi also wants the public to know she’s not just a diva, and that her past plays a part of her life today. "I think it comes from a deeper place than that," she explained. "It comes from another type of emotional disorder, because it's not just, 'I don't get what I want. I throw...It comes from, I think, an abandonment issue... just trying to build up a family around me that's not my immediate family. And if I feel a mistrust, then I really just...all my cards go down." ?

Naomi explained that her mother Valerie Morris had her when she was just 19 years old, and left her in order to pursue a career in ballet. Naomi told Oprah she felt betrayed, saying "of course I understand the sacrifice she had to make."

Naomi also admitted to doing cocaine at the age of 24! "I never, ever had to have a dealer," she said. "It made you feel like insatiable, but at the end, it was a destroyer. It's really a devil's drug."

Naomi, who is now clean and sober, is now looking forward to her future with Russian real estate mogul Vladimir Doronin, whom she met in 2008. The couple now live together in Moscow. ?"I like men who know what they want, know what they're doing, make their own decisions," she told Winfrey. "As much as I like to be the controller, it's not in my best interest."?

Hopefully this Vladimir will settle Naomi down for good! She could use a little chill pill, and has been pretty well-behaved lately, which is a nice change!
