Just when you thought Octomom’s 15 minutes of fame was up, unfortunately it gets renewed. Nadya Suleman , famous for popping out 8 kids and also being low key crazy, is going to appear on a brand-new celebrity dating show called Celebridate. Now, don’t expect The Bachelor with eligible Hollywood singles, think more along the lines of the same caliber of “celebs” as Celebrity Rehab.
The dating show will premiere on HDNet and will be hosted by Roger Lodge who spent seven years setting up singles on Blind Date. Aside from Octomom, the other celebs confirmed to appear on the show are Dean Cain (known for playing Superman on the 1993 TV series Lois & Clark) and actress Tracey Bingham (known only for being on Baywatch).
The show sets up singles (i.e. commoners) with celebrities (i.e. out of work actors).
Nadya tells Popeater, “I was lucky enough to be invited to be a part of it. I don’t perceive myself to be a celebrity, but I guess they do. To a certain degree, I am in the public eye.”
Currently Octomom has 14 kids, obviously not leaving much time for dating, so like all famewhores before and since, she’s going to look for love where else, on TV.
“I’ve never dated. This is actually the first time I have dated in my life,” she says, “I’ve had one boyfriend and it was very fascinating to me; it was an unforgettable experience. I am painfully shy and anxious. That’s just my personality. So it’s difficult for me to interact and have contact.”
Can someone set her up with Charlie Sheen? Because THAT would be good reality television.
