Mother of Octuplets Talks to Ann Curry

Meet Nadya Suleman! You've probably been hearing all about the mother who gave birth to the octuplets last week. Suleman was released from the hospital today and she already managed to sit down and talk to Ann Curry from NBC.

She told Ann that she's always dreamt of having a large family. She says: "That was always a dream of mine, to have a large family, a huge family."

Suleman who already has six kids at home says that she always longed for a large family because of her own dysfunctional childhood.

"I just longed for certain connections and attachments with another person that I really lacked, I believe, growing up," she says.

When Curry asked her what she lacked she responded saying, "Feeling of self and identity. I didn't feel as though, when I was a child, I had much control of my environment. I felt powerless. And that gave me a sense of predictability. Reflecting back on my childhood, I know it wasn't functional. It was pretty, pretty dysfunctional, and whose isn't?"

The interview airs on Monday but you can get a sneak peek tomorrow morning on the Today Show.
