Finally! Someone is stepping in and taking charge of the
Nadya Suleman situation!
Dr. Phil told the LA Times today that Nadya reached out to him because she was worried she wasn’t going to get her babies when they were ready to leave Kaiser Permanente.
He said, "What she is telling me is that unless and until she has a better living arrangement, that they are not likely to release the children to her.”
But when asked about the subject Kaiser spokesman Jim Anderson said, "Any conversations that the mother may or may not have had on this topic are private and we could not discuss them.”
But the neonatal intensive care nurses at the hospital are the ones who probably know these babies the best, as they take care of them around the clock.
One of them, Nurse Vicky Bermudez, says, "If they feel there's a risk to a baby, they contact Child Protective Services and Child Protective Services would make a determination as to whether or not there's a reason for concern.”
Of course, Child Protective Services isn’t commenting on the issue right now, and either is Nadya Suleman, since she had to disconnect her phone because of the threats she was receiving.
This is a really scary issue! These kids can’t stay in the hospital forever! We’re sure Child Protective Services will evaluate the issue and do the right thing. This woman doesn’t even have an income, or any cribs for that matter! Do you think Nadya has a right to take her own babies home?
In related news, Vivid has contacted Nadya about starring in some adult films. Cue the dry heaving. They’ve offered her $1 million to star in a porn. And to sweeten the deal, they’ve even offered to give all of her 14 children full medical and dental benefits if she signs a contract with them. And being on contract means more than one film! Ewwwww!
