Gloria Allred Suing to Protect Octuplets

New developments in the Octo-Mom case! Gloria Allred is reportedly suing to protect the innocent lives of Nadya Suleman’s octuplets.

According to Radaronline, Gloria is going to announce her legal plans today.

The cause of the suit is unknown at this time, but Radar has confirmed that Allred has the octuplets’ interests in mind.

She will be conducting a press conference at 11:30AM Pacific time to announce details.

UPDATE:

At today’s press conference, Gloria Allred announced that she and child advocacy group A Minor Consideration have filed a petition in Orange County Superior Court to protect the financial interests of Nadya Suleman’s children, and to appoint a guardian over their estate.

Gloria told reporters: "Rather than chose to provide her children with a normal life, their mother, Nadya Suleman, has chosen to commercially exploit them. We believe that the babies are entitled to remuneration since most of the compensation appears to be use of their images."

She added: “The goal is to be sure that the babies receive their fair share of payments" and that their payments "be placed into separate accounts for them and preserved for them as required by law."

Gloria went on to list the number of California labor laws Nadya was violating. She also said Suleman may be "potentially endangering the health, welfare and safety of children.”

A hearing date is set for June 22nd. Gloria said this can all be avoided if Nadya complies with appointing an independent guardian for the estate of her octuplets.

We actually agree with Gloria on this one. Nadya has nothing to lose to appoint a third party as head of her children’s estate. If she really cares about their well-being, she’ll put that into the hands of a professional.

this bitch is pissing me off man.. gloria is NOT the mother therefor she doesnt know shit about their best interest.. their best interest is to be with their mom, as loco as she may be, i dont see her going after the crackheads having babies and beating them.. atleast this kids have people there for them. taking away their mom is only going to make their lives worse..jeez.. i dont see why its just about these 8 babies.. she does have other kids, why isnt she trying to "save" them as well?
