Whitney Houston seems to be making a lot of progress with her highly anticipated comeback album.
She’s just unveiled the cover art for the LP entitled I Look To You, which will be released on Arista Records. Sony Music announced last month that her long-awaited comeback album will come out September 1st.
Whitney’s last original album was 2002’s Just Whitney. This will be her seventh studio album. Clive Davis recently told
MTV News that Houston is ready for her comeback.
He said, "You wait for the great songs to be written. The great hits Whitney has given to the public for so many years — you keep encouraging and setting the bar."
There was a “listening event” in London yesterday in which fans were treated to some of the tracks that will be on the album. From what we hear, fans and media were going crazy over the songs!
It’s about time Whitney be talked about for her musical talent rather than her personal problems! We’re excited to hear the new material.
