Vanessa Hudgens is being sued by music producer Johnny Viera for over $5 million and punitive damages. According to him, he and Vanessa had an agreement back in May of 2005 to split profits after he launched her career. But after she skyrocketed to fame, Vanessa dropped Viera and he says she failed to pay him the rest of the money she owed him, which was $2 million.
TMZ also has a copy of a note Vanessa gave to him that reads: "Johnny, thank you for everything, without you, I would be no where, we will make it BIG- Vanessa Hudgens. Sweet."
But according to her Vanessa's father, Greg Hudgens, Viera has a "predatory nature" and he has been trying to set up a Web site or phone line to stop more unsuspecting talent from falling victim to his ways.
