Usher's Ladies Night

We all know that R&B singer Usher is a fan of the ladies, but this is taking it pretty far.

Much to the joy of his fans, last night, Usher played a "Ladies Only" show at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC and the women went wild.

Apparently, the concert was one of 14 planned shows that Usher will perform across the country. As it turned out, it wasn't a firm rule and plenty of men also came out to party.

2008 American Music Award Nominees Announced

Jimmy Kimmel who will host the 2008 AMA's along with Julianne Hough and Jesse McCartney revealed the nominees this morning from the Beverly Hills Hotel.

You know it's gonna be good when Mariah Carey and Rihanna go head-to-head in the Favorite Female Artist category.

Usher Rehires His Mom

Usher's mother is officially his momager once again. His rep issued a statement today saying, "Usher has dissolved his management arrangement with Benny Medina and has re-engaged Jonnetta Patton as his manager."

We reported back in December that Usher had rehired her then, but the rumors about her not getting along with his wife Tameka must have had some truth to them, because she just got put back on the payroll!

Usher's Wife Talks About His Role As a Father

Usher is taking his new role as a father very seriously, just ask his wife Tameka Foster. Tameka talked to Hiphollywood.com and gushed about her husband. "He’s a really good dad, very sincere...He’s a great father."

The couple recently gave Essence magazine the exclusive rights to their son's baby photos, but unlike other celebs, this couple refused to pimp out their child for the right price.

Usher thinks his songs are so sexy; he makes love to them--literally!

He said: "Oh yeah, I have made love to a few of my songs. 'Love You Gently' is one of my favorites. Make her call you 'Daddy' when you put that one on."

Usher: Chris Brown Is the Next Me

R&B singer Usher says Chris Brown is the next...him. Usher says 19 year-old Brown is set to follow in his footsteps and dominate the R&B scene.

He says, "All of this young energy is great for the industry. Chris is the guy who dances and sings, which is a lot like I do and did as a young artist as well.

"If time serves us correctly, and artists are continuing to better themselves, then hopefully he'll follow the same path that I did."
