Two of music’s biggest superstars are set to perform at the concerts to celebrate the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame’s 25th anniversary.
Bruce Springsteen and
Bono will both be headlining at the shows, that’ll be held at Madison Square Garden in NYC on October 29th and 30th.
Jann Wenner, the Founder and Chairman of Rolling Stone and Chairman of the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Foundation said in a statement:
"Twenty-five years ago a group led by legendary Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun created this foundation to recognize and celebrate the music and careers of artists whose music helped shape and define our generation.
"These once-in-a-lifetime concerts are designed to celebrate the artists and their music."
The artists will take to the stage to play their own music and the music that inspires them, and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Foundation and Museum.
Metallica and Stevie Wonder are also on the initial roster.
