U2 is officially back! Their brand new single Get On Your Boots just debuted this morning, and it’s very rock n’ roll. It’s the first single off their upcoming album No Line On The Horizon, which will be released on February 27th in Ireland, and March 3rd in the U.S.
The band recorded the album in New York, Dublin, and Morocco last year, and industry insiders think it’ll be the biggest selling album of 2009. Fans are already going nuts waiting for it to come out, since it’ll be the first album since their 2004 Grammy-winning record How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.
The U2 Web site announced today that No Line on the Horizon will be sold in five different formats: a standard CD case with 24-page booklet; a “digipak” edition with a fold-out poster and rights to download a U2 film; a 64-page magazine version; a box edition that includes a DVD and hardback book; and a limited-issue vinyl LP.
