Tyrese Gets Booed After Switching Lyrics to Star-Spangled Banner

Tyrese took center court at last night’s NBA playoff game, and rather than showing patriotism to the USA, the Lakers got the respect.

Tyrese kicked off last night’s game with a rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner and offended quite a lot of people! While singing the song, Tyrese decided to switch the lyrics from “our flag was still there” to “our Lakers were still there.”

Pretty sure our founding fathers weren’t Kobe fans, and it garnered an awful lot of boos from the crowd at Staples Center, who, by the way, are Kobe fans.

Tyrese hasn’t issued an apology as of yet, though he updated his Twitter with the status “Sick,” and has canceled all of his prior commitments scheduled for today.

Now Rosanne isn’t the record holder for worst anthem! We think that may take the cake!

Well nothing is wrong with that, people just have to appreciate a little humor sometimes. showing loyalty to one's country is good, but Tyrese is a very fun loving person and he takes thing quiet slow. I am sure he wasn't being disrespectful, he's an American also.

I'm sure he didn't mean for it to be a big deal, but it is a huge slap in America's face.
