Travis Barker has something to smile about. Last night he and his band mates of Blink-182 confirmed that they were reuniting. After four years apart, the trio told the audience at last night’s Grammys that they were getting the band back together.
Many believe that it was Travis’ near-death experience last Fall that led to the reunion. They told the crowd last night, "We used to play music together. We decided we're going to play music together again."
Travis, Mark Hoppus, and Tom DeLonge also released a statement saying, "To put it simply, we're back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy."
As of now, no details about tour dates or an album release has been made. But there’s a rumor floating around that Blink-182 will be opening up for Green Day on their upcoming tour. That would be sweet! Check their Myspace pages for upcoming details.
