The Spice Girls Disappoint

The Spice Girls have disappointed fans everywhere by not releasing a DVD about their most recent tour. This is strike two for the girls, who just canceled several of their tour dates. They had originally planned on stopping in Australia, China, and South Africa for shows, but decided not to so they could spend time with their families.

A post on their website reads: "Sadly, there will not be a DVD release of the 47-date tour, but the girls hope you were all left with some fantastic personal memories of the show."

So lazy! It wouldn't be that hard to gather footage from the concerts. Plus it would probably be a big seller for them.

I WANT THEM TO COME BACK AND TOUR AUSTRALIA NOW! or at least next year! their "who knows what will happen next" comment better mean something. anyway, I hope they will make a tour DVD of an Oz concert, that would b wicked! america and uk u guys shouldnt b annoyed by this, u got to see them live! its us in Oz that were hit hardest =(

Pathetic... i was saddenned when they cancelled there tour to Australia, which was on the original list of dates, that sadness was lessened by the thought of a dvd of the concert... which has now been sqashed !!!what is going on!!! they really seem like they have forgotten everyone but England and America!!! Pathetic!!! and Dana, you obviously come from one of the countries who got to see the girls...the dvd is all that we had to look forward to!!! back off!

i don't understand why some people think it is just as easy as making a DVD. there is tons of red tape and negotiating involved in determining who gets how much of a cut of the sales of a concert DVD- management, the girls, the band, the camera, lighting and sound crews, choreographers, dancers, the people who made the videos for the background projections, co-writers of the songs, any managers who were involved with the solo songs the girls performed if those were going to be included, the people who wrote and own the rights to the cover songs, hair and makeup- the list goes on and on. if they couldn't reach a deal that was acceptable to all parties involved- no DVD. simple as that. it isn't as if the girls themselves sat down and decided they didn't want to do one. they also may have never planned to release a DVD. maybe they have more planned for the future, who knows? to blame the girls personally for this seems silly.

yes its a kick in the stomach to all the spice fans its down right disgusting ive lost alot of respect for the spice girls. if you treat your fans like that by not releasing a dvd then its sad very sad.

why did anyone think there was gonna be a dvd?????? they never once said that a dvd would be released after the tour so dont go blaming them. blame all the people on youtube saying that they should make one, and it all got blown out of proportion. obviously the girls were not doing this tour for the money, or a dvd would have been expected.

How can there not be a DVD. I mean... seriously. this was their reunion world tour. *edit: reunion US, CANDADA, and UK tour. What about those who never got to see it besides some crappy Youtube.com that shook and had bad sound quality? Its a slap in their faces, thats what.

well they don't care about their fans anymore, and why would they? the spice girls are together but not connected anymore. so spice girls fans are left in the cold until another update.
