Soulja Boy was arrested last night in Georgia after trying to run away from police! According to local news sources, he was a part of a video shoot at a house in Henry County.
Authorities were tipped off that a group of people were hanging around the house, which looked to be abandoned. When the police officer came to the door, Soulja Boy took off.
But he must have realized instantly that that was a dumb idea, so he came back to the scene, and admitted to being part of the group at the house.
Soulja Boy, whose real name is Deandre Cortez Way, was then taken into custody and brought to jail nearby. The 19-year-old was charged with obstruction and bonded out of the Henry County jail on Thursday. A telephone call to his publicist was not immediately returned.
Pretty stupid reason to get arrested! That’s what permits are for! You’d think someone that successful in the industry would hire someone to take of those things!
