Susan Boyle is quickly becoming a household name after her stellar performance on Britain’s Got Talent captured hearts around the world. But
Simon Cowell was one of the first people to see Susan sing, as he’s a judge on the show.
Last night after American Idol, Simon recalled the day Susan took the stage back in January when the show was shot.
He told Fox News, “I remember we were up in Scotland. And we’d had a terrible day, I was bored, I was frustrated, and this little old lady comes up on stage, here we go again.
He added, "I asked her how old she was, she said 47. She doesn’t look 47. And I thought this audition was going to last 3 seconds.”
Then Simon said how surprised he was when she started to sing. He said, “I’ve never ever felt anything like it in my life. The whole place just turned….It’s one of the most incredible pieces of TV I’ve ever seen.”
