Russell Brand is a little nervous about hosting this Sunday's VMAs, so he's called on Chris Rock for some help with his humor.

The British are coming…to Hollywood that is! British import Russell Brand has been chosen to host the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

For those of you who are not familiar with this British import, he made audiences members laugh as he made his film debut in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”

No doubt Brand will deliver with his British dry sense of humor and eccentric dance moves. Previous VMA hosts include Jack Black, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Chris Rock.
