Rihanna is referred to as the “fourth member” of the British girl group
Sugababes.
The group recently signed with Jay-Z’s Rock-A-Fella music label, and have befriended Rihanna, who is also signed under the label.
In fact, Rihanna has become somewhat of a mentor to the pop trio. Band member Keisha Buchanan says, "Every time we're gonna hook up (with Jay-Z) he's off partying with Diddy or someone, but Rihanna has been a huge help to us."
She added, "She's been like our fourth member, listening to all our songs and saying what she liked and what she didn't."
That’s a good friend to have! Rihanna definitely knows a thing or two about the music industry, and how to stay relevant and successful! It’s nice to hear she hasn’t forgotten the little people on her rise to fame! Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of Sugababes from now on!
