2008 Grammy's Performance Lineup

January 24, 2008

Beyonce

We reported yesterday that Beyonce and Tina Turner are set to duet at this year's Grammy's, and now there's a longer list of stars that have confirmed. Also slated to perform is Carrie Underwood and the Foo Fighters, who will play their song "The Pretender" with an orchestra led by guest conductor John Paul Jones, bassist for the recently reunited Led Zeppelin.

The show will also feature a special segment with Rihanna performing alongside a reunion of 1980s R&B/funk act the Time. A tribute to gospel music will bring together Mary J. Blige, Aretha Franklin, Israel and New Breed, Madison Bumblebees, the Clark Sisters and Trin-I-Tee 5:7.

So the big question is, will Amy Winehouse choose to stay in rehab, or will she be making a cameo at the Grammy's? As much as I love me an Amy performance, it's more important for her to get well than to sing.

I hope Jordin Sparks performs Tattoo and then it would rebound back into the Top 10 on the hot 100 and maybe climb higher than #8. But I'd rather she sang No Air. It would help her 100%!! Tattoo CLIMBED 9-5 on The Canadian Hot 100 becoming Jordins first Top 5 single!!!!!
