Queen Latifah is looking for a new artist to sing a brand new song with her in a duet.
At last night’s People’s Choice Awards, Queen announced on stage that she was launching a contest for budding musicians and artists because she was looking for a “fresh new voice and a fresh new song.”
The winner’s original song will be a part of her upcoming album Persona. But you’d better hurry, because Queen intends on picking someone soon!
She’ll narrow down all the submissions by next month, and pick three finalists. From there, she’s letting the fans decide who will be the winner with an online poll.
That person will get a chance to go into the studio with her and record the song. Talk about amazing! This is the chance of a lifetime for you budding musicians so don’t waste any time!
