Pete Doherty is back on the writing track. No, the Libertines are not getting back together, but Pete and his former bandmate Carl Barat are going to be writing a musical together.
London's Donmar Warehouse theatre commissioned the musical, which is expected to premiere in early 2009. Barat expects that they'll write 20 new songs for the musical, which will be about the drama surrounding an up-and-coming band. Way to get back on the horse, Pete!
