Since his tragic death, it seems there’s a new story about
Michael Jackson every day. The latest is about an alleged “unreleased recording” of his that has been obtained.
The song, entitled “A Place With No Name” was released by
TMZ yesterday, and it’s unknown when it was originally recorded.
The track sounds indisputably similar to the song “A Horse with No Name,” released by the group America in 1971.
According to
TMZ, America’s manager Jim Morey gave Jackson permission to record the song, even though the tracks are so similar.
Morey, who was also Jackson’s manager for a short time in the 80’s and early 90’s, told
TMZ, "The band was honored that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael's fans to hear."
