Tommy Motola: Michael Left Behind Years Worth of Music

Michael Jackson allegedly left behind a whole catalogue of songs he never released.

Former CEO of Sony Music Tommy Motola tells Time magazine, "The world will be listening to Michael Jackson for decades to come."

Mottola says there are dozens of albums that have never been heard. He says, "Let's say 12 or 13 songs end up on the album; Michael could have possibly recorded 15, 20 or 30 songs.

"This would probably go for every album he recorded and probably pre-dating [Sony] to his Motown days."

And if you think you've heard the best of Michael, think again. According to Mottola, the unheard music may be his best work! He says, "There were so many recordings, and so many of them were great. It doesn't mean these [unreleased] songs were any less great; it just happened to be the other songs that were picked."

We can't imagine anything holding a candle to Michael's already-released material, but Tommy Motolla does have an ear for good music, so we'll take his word for it!
