Michael Jackson Won't Sing At Grammy's

Sorry to disappoint all you Michael Jackson fans, but the former pop superstar will not be performing at the Grammy's this Sunday, but he is still scheduled to make an appearance.

There were rumors that Jackson was going to perform to help promote the 25th anniversary of the re-release of his album 'Thriller' but he was apparently reluctant to take on such a big project in such a short time. The last time Michael performed live was at the World Music Awards, and if you all remember, that didn't go over so well for the singer.

A source tells the New York Post, "Michael can't go along with that. He needs more time to rehearse new versions of the songs. And everything requires new choreography."

Jackson will still be appearing on stage at the awards.

YOU know what it doesnt matters if he performs here cause he has his future ahead of him and Im looking for new songs by him and just his 25th anniversary album will satisfy me until he comes out with more exciting things for the world to preview. Its so ironic how 'they' never fail to refer to Elvis as the King and can go as low as call the world's most famous person (a survey conducted in 2001 established that MJ was more famous than the Pope and Clinton) and the world's most succeful entertainer ever (Guinnes Book of World Records 2007) a former superstar... Do you really get paid for this?
