Lily Allen
It seems like we hear this rumor every other week! Lily Allen has reportedly decided she’s taking a break from the music industry. But apparently this time, she means it.

According to the BBC, Lily says she is taking "one or two years off from recording and performing music" in March 2010. She wants to use her free time to start her own record label, open up a clothing store with her sister and "spend some time in the home I've built for myself.”

She told the UK’s Radio 1, "My last gig is my Dizzee Rascal concert at the O2 (London) in March. That's the last thing I've got planned. I'm just going to concentrate on doing some behind the scenes sort of stuff."

As far as creating her own label, Lily says, "I'm going to get into signing new bands but at a really early level. I don't want to compete with other record companies but I want to support new artists."

We’re all for Lily exploring other arenas, but isn’t it a little too soon to quite the biz? She’s only put out two albums!
