Leona Lewis to Write Her Memoirs

Leona Lewis’ fame went from zero to 100 with the success of her song Bleeding Love. And now she’s a household name, thanks to that song, and winning X Factor. She’s one of the few people who can actually thank Simon Cowell for giving them a career.

Leona’s fame and life story is something her fans want to know more about, so she’s just signed a deal to publish her memoirs. Leona has teamed up with Hodder & Stoughton to write her autobiography which will hit stores this October. The book will document her rise to the top of the charts after winning X Factor.

She says, "The last two years have been an unbelievable experience for me. So to have it documented in pictures and to be able to tell people in my own words what it feels like means a lot to me.

"I know the book will be full of special moments and I’m already having a brilliant time putting it together."

It does sound like a great book, but we wish these celebrities would stop calling these books memoirs! Leona is so young, and it seems like she’ll be staying in the game for a long time. If you’re Madonna, you can call it a memoir!

I agree with Eboe? How interesting would it be to write a memoir at 27?

Maybe it's just me, but I associate someone writing their memoirs, or having someone write them for the, with them on their death bed. You don't write memoirs when you're in your 20's. Yet, I like Leona, and the book will be good
