Taylor Swift is pretty unstoppable these days. The 19-year old country starlet nabbed five American Music Award nominations this morning, putting her right at the top of the pack alongside the late Michael Jackson.

The nominations were read off this morning by Paula Abdul, Adam Lambert, and Snoop Dogg. Taylor’s noms include female country music artist, favorite female pop artist and artist of the year. And right behind her and MJ is the controversial Eminem, who has four nominations....

Lady Gaga has decided to go on a solo tour! She doesn’t need all that Kanye baggage anyway! She announced today that she’ll be headlining her own tour now, while Kanye takes some time away from the spotlight.

Lady Gaga: "Creative Differences" Ruined Tour

Lady Gaga claims her 'Fame Kills' tour with Kanye West died due to "Creative Differences." Riiiiight.

In a post on her Twitter.com blog, the celebrity dancer writes, "Great rehearsal Gaga!!! No kanya (sic) tour not mad!! Let's keep it moving!!" A second post simply states, "Creative differences!!!"

No official explanation was given but some reports suggest the dates suffered from poor ticket sales, while others claim Lady Gaga didn't want to be associated with Kanye due to all the negative...

Lady Gaga Performs 'Paparazzi' at 2009 MTV VMA's

Aside from the Kanye West/Taylor Swift drama, everyone was talking about Lady Gaga and her outrageous outfits at the MTV VMA's.

Gaga attended the awards with some very interesting outfit choices changing multiple times throughout the night.

The most normal outfit that she had on was during her performance of 'Paparazzi' at Radio City Music Hall and that even turned out bloody.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards are going to be huge this year! And just today, both Jay-Z and Lady Gaga have been added to the list of performers confirmed for the evening.
