American Idol winner Kris Allen has just released his music video for the song “Live Like We’re Dying.” The track is the first single off his first album.

His album comes out this month, and Kris is premiering the video on Popeater, where he also did an exclusive interview to talk about his year since winning Idol.

American Idol season 8 winner Kris Allen has just come out with his first single!

The song is called Live Like We’re Dying, and it’s a lot more rock n’ roll than we were expecting from the usually-mellow Kris.

The track really shows off his vocals, and will definitely get the throngs of female fans of his excited. Check out the new song below, and download it on iTunes now!

American Idol winner Kris Allen has been forced to cancel his first show since becoming a household name. Kris was scheduled to do an appearance on Conan O’Brien later this week, but has since canceled it due to a death in his family.

Kris’ grandmother passed away, according to his rep. He also let fans know via his Twitter, saying, “I know I was supposed to do conan on wed, but there was a death in my family.”

American Idol champ Kris Allen has signed a record deal! His first album will come out in the fall via Jive Records.
