Brad Paisley Leads Academy of Country Music Nominees

The Academy of Country Music nominees were announced this morning, and Brad Paisley leads the pack! Jessica Simpson, LeAnn Rimes, Kellie Pickler and Julianne Hough read the nominations live this morning during CBS' The Early Show broadcast. Brad is up for six nominations, including entertainer of the year and male vocalist.

Kenny Chesney is Entertainer of the Year

Kenny Chesney was nominated in seven categories, but only took home one award last night at the 42nd Annual Country Music Association Awards.

He wasn't upset though, since he won the biggest honor of the night. Kenny was named Entertainer of the Year for the third consecutive year (and 4th time in his career) and was more than happy to humbly accept his prize.
