All Stephen Colbert wanted to do was to beat
Kanye West on iTunes. Their little feud began when Stephen’s holiday album called A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift Of All starting creeping up the line of top albums on iTunes.
That prompted the outspoken Kanye to twitter on his website: “Who the f**k is Stephen Colbert? Needless to say, that didn’t sit well with Colbert, who then wanted to make it his mission to beat Kanye on the top albums list.
He launched Operation: Humble Kanye, and he was successful! The Christmas album made it to the number 2 spot, dropping Kanye’s down to number 3 but it got reversed today, and Kanye is back on top, but Colbert had some fun with it last night while it lasted!
