During Grammy Week there was tons of parties and events to choose from and while most events were for social networking and entertainment, Josh Groban and other Music Industry professionals got together Friday afternoon for a meaningful Town Hall discussion.

Proper compensation amongst the artist for their works aired on the am/fm dials was this hot topic. The Singer-Songwriter lent his support to the Performance Rights Bill, which was introduced to Congress in 2007.

It turns out people do like Christmas music. Josh Groban's holiday album, Noel, is enjoying its 5th week topping the Billboard charts.

Not too far behind this Christmas cheer is Growing Pains, Mary J's new album. Her last three albums debuted at number one, so I have a feeling that as the lights and decorations come down, so will Groban's chart topper.

Josh Groban should be thanking his lucky stars, or Oprah. Ever since the talk show queen advised everyone to go out and buy Groban's holiday album, sales have been skyrocketing.

"Noel" retains its lead on the chart for a second week. The 143/Reprise effort moved 539,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, a 33% increase in sales.

Last night 'High School Musical' star Ashley Tisdale and Nick Lachey hosted the 75th annual Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
